The 4.3 billion year "age of the Earth" meets none of those criteria.

I've never heard of anyone being afraid, upset, or bothered by the scientific method. I think you're just building strawmen so you can knock them down.

That poster was not afraid. He was testing OP's understanding of Theo, but OP didn't answer for some unknown reason.

By and large it just . . . doesn't, as is shown by the huge number of Christians who spend and spent their lives working as scientists. Why are Americans (both Christians and anti-Christians, but mostly more the anti-Christians from what I've seen so far) so mind-blowingly blinkered and parochial? There's a whole world beyond your podunk little hometown m8, try learning about it, you never know you might like it.

Considering that Christians invented it, I don't think it does. Unfortunately, it was man-man and is fallible, so it's not very useful in any matter that we have an infallible source on.

Because rigorous logical exploration of truth leads to disbelief in Iron Age mythology and fictional gods.
To add on to your question, why wouldn’t they just leave Christianity instead of trying to attack logic and truth itself?
    That’s what I did.

Not Christian but I am against the blind faith in the scientific method. Like everything else it looks good in theory but in practice it comes up against the necessity for heirarchical agreement.

Jesus Christ IS the scientific method.

John 15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

Why do you think everyone is always talking about TESTimony?

Jesus is literally the anointed code of Theo. That which is tested by the cycle of life and death, and proves to bear good fruit.

He was killed by a bunch of unscientific zealots from the city who were chanting "crucify the man, crucify the man. Release Sky Daddy!"

Then, the anointed truth rises from the dead and gives his math students 153 fish. What's that about?

How can you have a scientific THEOry to test without THEO?

Because they're full of shit and I think many of them deep down know that they are and it's inevitable that belief in magic israelites will decline as science advances.
