I find way more comfort in God not caring about me but I worship God because of how magnificent and better God is than me. It's like I can't help but submit.

He doesn't love you personally. You attribute love to him because he's greater than you and you believe that creation is a byproduct of love. It's not. He's beyond all of us. If you truly loved God, then you'd love him regardless of the selfish reasons.

It's wrong because you insult and diminish the size of God by putting weak human values onto him. He doesn't operate like us. It's like saying that we should live with the morals of an floating sea plankton. Also, there is no "spot in heaven" because heaven is nonbeing. You will not even be aware of heaven. It will be heaven because it's not suffering, and suffering is awareness and knowing, which upon death, only happens when you are too attached to materiality.

I definitely understand the value that religion has played throughout history. Some people need religion to stay on path, so many people leave the life of crime etc. because they found a sense of higher life, you can’t take that away from the world as long as people like that are there because that will cause chaos.
