Atheists don't hate God. To them God is a fictional being that's no more worthy of hate than the tooth fairy.
What actually riles them up is when believers try to shove that bullshit down their throats and dictate that society should be run in a way that's based on old fairytales.

Even the holiest of mortals has things to pay for, it is better that you suffered here in life so that you pay for any wrong doing you might have done or desired in your heart. Than to have to suffer and pay in the day of judgement when the rewards are being handed over. It will be like when the teacher says "anyone who finishes the exam can leave" and then people start getting up and handing over their papers and you're still in answer 5 of 40 and the stress and desperation starts to kick in.
It is very easy to love and praise Elohim when your life is wonderful and full of joy, but when you're angry is when you show your true face. Elohim wants to see your true face. He wants to see who you are when you're down, suffering and out of hope. If you still trust him, if you still love him, if your love is conditional or you will love him no matter what.
Abraham had his beloved wife stolen once by the king of Egypt. What hope do you have of getting her back if it was the king the one who took her? But he did not complain or cursed Elohim or reproached him, instead he continued to trust him and suffer in silence. Elohim gave him his wife back untouched by scaring the shit out of the king. Those who have suffered are very blessed for they have already paid, if they trust and love Elohim even during their suffering, he will make every tear worth mountains of gold for them. Your suffering wont even be remembered. You will not care, you will be wholly satisfied.
