I unironically think so, they have a lot more brains and personality than people think, which should be obvious considering they're extremely social animals, but somehow isn't.

Fish symbol means vegana they just flip sign

Nah, this is just a stupid theory because a simplified drawing of a fish resembles a simplified drawing of a vegana that was used to mark prostitutehouses in Rome. Children draw fish like that and they have never seen a vegana or a brothel in their life.

It's not theory tho it's fact in ancient Egypt and various other ancient beliefs it was recorded as a vegana for Rebirth and life purposes Christianity stole many symbols and slightly changed them

If I'm not mistaken, the symbol is associated with the concept of evangelization, the evangelist is a fisher of souls. It must be in the New Testament.

Fish definitely have souls, like all God’s creation. The spark of life comes from Him.
As for the significance, historically Christians were associated with fishing.
Jews considered fish special as a source of food that didn’t go against God’s commandments: they don’t have either breath of life or blood. Obviously this isn’t objectively true, but they didn’t know better and to be honest even nowadays a lot of people think that fish aren’t animals or that they don’t have meat.

only humans have souls. to have a soul is to be made in God's image, which fish are not.

I am fairly certain „God’s image” doesn’t mean his appearance; humans and fish are similar in almost every aspect, therefore it’s logical to assume all animal life is of God.

Wing made in gods image means having the capacity for rational thought, which fish do not have.

fish have souls but not like humans of course, just so much smaller souls that it might not exist

In Genesis 7:21 - 22: “Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind. Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died.”

Animals do have souls, or at least a spirit. The breath of life, or “ruach,” is in them.

Fish are highly social and literally use tools. Just because they look goofy doesn't mean they're not intelligent.

There's no particular significance attributed to fish. The fish thing is the result of some first-century AD Greek wordplay.

hy do Abrahamic religions attribute significance to fish

because fish in the babylon way is very much related to neptune worship
the name fish is given to christains because they are like fish they swim in a school or swarm.
the fish talks about the nature of the christain

its got nothing to do with fish btw.
but its simularity with certain human beings are when acting as a reglious manner.
    >there was no fish btw, its just a animal used in comparsions to behaviar

you need to take the bible afrom a non literal aspect but more from tis babylon and roman roots because in it it will explain the symbolism

jesus was said to be as a fish because he never stayed anywhere too long as he was imaged as a fish to just wanted to live free.
sothe christain concept is born like that.

and they are talking about the spirit how it longs to eb free from th encagement of the material.
they say reality is like a fish bowl and we are fish. in the likeless of the behavier

According to the Noahide covenant, we are not allowed to eat any flesh which still has the blood therein. So, every practicing israelite back in the day (real israelites, not the moloch worshippers) would boil their meat to remove the blood. However, since fish is a different type of flesh, it doesn't have to be seethed (boiled) first- you can just roast it over a fire. Therefore, my theory is that the ease and deliciousness of flame roasted fish (as opposed to boiled lamb/beef) caused many israelites to see fish as special. Nick Vanderlaan on YT has some great videos on the subject.

The imagery of fish is often present with the imagery of fishermen, just like sheep and shepherds:

    >Jer 16:15 […] For I will bring them back to their own land that I gave to their ancestors.
    >16 I am now sending for many fishermen, says YHWH, and they shall catch them, and afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill and out of the clefts of the rocks. 17 For my eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from my presence, nor is their iniquity concealed from my sight.

See also Ezekiel 47:10, where fish are related both to streams of life as living creatures themselves, as well as bringing life and prosperity to the fishermen. "Living water" is also a really important concept in near eastern mysticism (John 4, Mandaeism, Odes of Somomon).

    >Mk 1:16 And passing along by the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting a net in the sea; for they were fishermen. 17 And Jesus said to them, “Follow me and I will make you become fishers of men.” 18 And immediately they left their nets and followed him. 19 And going on a little farther, he saw James the son of Zeb′edee and John his brother, who were in their boat mending the nets. 20 And immediately he called them; and they left their father Zeb′edee in the boat with the hired servants, and followed him.

btw, if you’ve mainly read Matthew or Luke, I strongly recommend giving Mark a careful read with no preconceptions. As the oldest gospel narrative (bar perhaps 1 Cor 15:3-5, 2:8), Mark gives it to you "raw and unadulterated", as far as such a thing exists today. It's the closest glimpse you can get to the origins of Christianity. And not only that, the text itself is a lot more wild, surprising, challenging and of a more "mystical" flavour than you might remember. Reading it through the lens of Luke or Matthew really does it no justice.
