When you dream at night do you insist upon the dreams you have? Dreams don't work by choosing exact details. If you trip and fall in a dream it wasn't because you said "hmmm, I think I'll fall down now". It was because you were dreaming of a world that allows you to fall. And then you did.

Then that's the part of you that's holding on to THIS dream. If you want another dream then you have to let go of that belief. My great grandmother was cremated. If there is no afterlife, she does not currently exist anymore. I would hypothetically be like her? That's the concept I'm running with for not existing. She can't feel pain anymore because her form is spread into countless meaningless particles across the ocean. She can't know anything because what was once her brain is now dust. Just like how I can write or draw a picture of a face crying in pain on a whiteboard, if I erased it by rearranging the ink, then the information would be lost and no more pain, right?

I mean, I guess that makes sense in a way. I can't know what it's like to not exist, since not existing is not exactly like anything I've ever known. But that doesn't mean I haven't experienced things similar to not existing. I was clocked in the head with a baseball when I was 8 or something and there was 10 seconds there which just didn't happen for me. Like, there's nothing to remember. I effectively didn't exist for 10 seconds, but I know it happened because of the hole it left in my stream of events. One second I was running to get the ball, and then I tasted grass and saw green. It was seamless. Not-existing can't be known, for sure, but having not existed before is something that can be known. Your argument is basically like saying that shadows can't be seen since they are the absence of light. What you're seeing are not actually shadows, but light distributed unevenly. You can't want to see something that is by definition invisible. That's silly. Still, you can want to not see stuff, can't you?
Like, I can't say that I want to see nothingness. But can't I say that I do not want to see anything? Can't I say I don't want to exist? I can't want to not exist, sure. That's silly.
