I admire religious men like the Pilgrims, John Locke, Isaac Newton, and Martin Luther King Jr. much more than a bunch of opinionated morons on Oyish.

Locke is best known as a proponent of limited government. He uses a theory of natural rights to argue that governments have obligations to their citizens, have only limited powers over their citizens, and can ultimately be overthrown by citizens under certain circumstances.

Are you saying that you think if you stopped being religious, you would troon out? Is faith in Jesus the only thing preventing you from wearing dresses and make up, and potentially chopping your wiener off?

Instead of having the strength to forgive work things out and be slow to anger you went backwards and thought anger and violence could solve your problems. Yeah big improvement. If your car breaks down hitting it with a shovel will definitely make it run brand new.

    Good for you!
I didn't like atheism too much, I found my recluse in Buddhism. Was too hard to make my own way without a framework supporting me.

When everything is lost, you can't find a reasonable answer to your problems and don't have any more strength left. Ask to your God for help and let him handle it

Probably because you got rid of the cognitive dissonance which is going to be running in the background if you believe something stupid you know isn’t true on some level

The biggest giveaway that christianity is a scam is every time protestant/catholic/orthodox/whatever anons argue over bullshit politics from 600-1400 years ago and pretend their brand is the "true" one. As though the people who established these differences centuries ago were acting out of anything but political convenience. The east-west schism is easily explained by the empire becoming dipolar with two centers of power, each of whom refused to give way to the other. The reformation is easily explained by some Euros not wanting to be beholden to the pope any longer. Yet they pretend the extremely superficial differences between their dogmas are somehow deal breakers. Worse yet, none of them chose their team, they simply adopted it after being told to as children. Imagine never questioning your childhood beliefs.

Of course they get giga assblasted any time someone disagrees with them, just put yourself in their shoes.
