I didn’t say I know the intended meaning of every biblical verse. I’m not even a Christian. My point is just that if any part of a written work is anything other than completely incoherent, you have interpreted it to some extent. Even if you only understand the basic plot of some of its stories, you have engaged in interpretation.

There is a strange website - https://authentic-christianity.org/ - with this premise. I learned how to read Greek script from it years ago but never settled on what to make of it. Its interpretations and methods seem like a huge stretch and implausible, but he uses this to create a theology strikingly similar to Mandaeism, apparently without being aware of Mandaeism beforehand. That seems like a wild coincidence and the fact that no one else knows about this to talk about this has just left me wondering. No one here will have the patience to read it all but it is very interesting.
