True love is always rooted in God. Those who do not know God cannot love others easily as God desires us to love. To truly love we must know God, because God is love. Love is patient and kind towards others. Love is not self-seeking, does not envy, and is not rude. Love with God's love.

I think there’s room for improvement here, if I may be so bold. To know God is not necessary to be able to love others properly. Instead, people should realize that their ability to love others fully is proof of God’s existence.
