Is Law of Attraction incompatible with Christianity?

Is Law of Attraction incompatible with Christianity?
I want to give something a little push to happen and I think it shouldn't be too hard, but I'm scared of the consequences. The funny thing is I had a dream about this and something told me that while nothing would happen to my soul, I might find that what I asked for might not be up to my liking after all.

it is worth noting that what I aim to achieve is pretty unethical even without LoA

on your original question i gotta say i felt the same, when i tried doing LOA i always feel like some kind of psychopath who ust thinks positive all day and imagines im the rich king of the world, i mean this sounds moronic doesnt it?

but yea to what you wrote just know you know the answer, if its unethical obvs god says no

          >if its unethical obvs god says no
I know this already but my desire is too great.
Does using LoA impact the morality here?
          basically
          >flirt with an older coworker who has a boyfriend
          >she jerk offs to my body and dick and we've been sexting but she can't bring herself to actually cheat because she doesn't want to ruin her perfect relationship
          >actually she did want to come over once but I missed the chance for reasons
I know it's wrong but I think I'm in love. She has serious flaws but is a very high quality woman otherwise. I don't want to ruin her life but I really want her and can't believe I fricked up my only chance.

OP tell me how this is different from prayer
same phenomenon viewed through different worldviews.

    both work (to a point).
    Why? i don't know

in prayer you trust in god
in loa you act like you are god

the worst thing is that I feel like I can't pray for this because it's unethical so I've been feeling empty and removed from God's light
but my desire is not merely of the flesh, as I said I think I'm in love but we just can't be together, it's impossible for many reasons

Get into a deep, authentic, reverent state of prayer, and feel the presence of your Savior. Ask politely whether using the Law of Attraction is allowed according to the laws of the Almighty. Whether the Lord will support you in your task.

Be grateful for the answer, and promise to pray more often.

Depends on how you use it mate and if you give credit where credit is due.

The basic gist is simply "Sincerely ask and you will sincerely receive, but you must walk through the door when offered."

If you walk through the door and take all the claim for yourself for moving all the gears to make it happen, you're a fricking homosexual frick you. You don't even have the slightest fricking clue what strings what reverberations had to be moved and timed to make the result happen.

If you do not walk through the door when it is presented to you, but are expecting it to be delivered directly in front of you, then you are also a fricking homosexual, but a lazy one. You have to put in a little bit of effort in making real and manifesting your goal, this usually involves literally just taking two steps forward, grabbing a doorknob and walking through the door. If you go waaaaaaaaaah God why didn't you answer my prayer, God is gonna legit be like "Bruh. You've no idea the amount of shit I just did to make the fricking door appear. Walk through it next time you stupid fat frick."

If you want things to go swimmingly; simply align your goals with Gods, have your wills and wants perpendicular and intersected to one another; thus it will always be granted and done, as long as you put in a slight effort on your end, and thanking Him after you've crossed the threshold.

That is LITERALLY, called having a relationship with a Living God.

"Law of attraction" is a misnomer. Don't trust in things so ill-defined. In reality, opposites attract (like the electromagnetic force). This is why happiness is cyclic (good energy attracts bad energy which takes over and then vice versa happens). Don't play with things you don't understand (even if you think it's innocuous or benevolent).

LoA is made up bullshit so knock yourself out

You are already thinking about it and thus you are already attracting it. Now you have written about it and asked others about it, without even being specific you are attracting it more and more. It's how it works. It's now out of your control.

Read Neville Goddard. He interprets the bible as one that endorses LoA

Personally i dont recommend LoA, its essentially a form of obsession that does produce results, but obsession is not the way to true spiritual development. still, its neat to try out

Neophytes should get comfy with chaos, and playing around with reality. Unless you insist on following religious nuts that molest kids

Ehh I still think I can’t use it without putting a greater blemish on my soul because what I want is unethical.

what do you meanbby unethical? ethos means character, or manner. when you say, unethical, i read that as meaning "uncharacteristic". you decide who you are, what character you will play. so what do you mean by "what i want is unethical"? you aren't the type to want somebody like her?

I mean immoral. I am very much the type to want someone like her, I’m hopelessly drawn to her like iron to a magnet. But we could never form a relationship unless both sides were willing to make serious changes/sacrifices so casual sex is the only realistic option here.
The thing is I don’t want to ruin her life. She said she’s in the best relationship she’s ever had but I’m too sexy. I’ve basically been tempting her.
Maybe I should try to find another woman.
I feel like using LoA here would take it from misguided to straight up scumbag tier

The law of assumption is compatible, yes. The law of attraction is new age grifting bullshit. Also, read the material and be pragmatic and cautious towards second hand advice. A perspective from a perspective is further dilution.

It's not an obsession. It's a constant practice, or in Bible terms of "praying without ceasing".
