    Edgier?
At some point you could make up your own Religion...

Religion for all modern People is almost like a Hobby that they want to get into.

In History this has not been the Case.

You were Pagan, because you were born into a Pagan Family.
You were Christian because you were born into a Christian Family.

The worst thing you can do is choose a Religion like it's an Ice-Cream flavor.

All Religions have aspects of Philosophy, Ritual, Tradition, Norms, etc. etc.

Only adopt a Religion if it is in Line of a Community and doesn't drive a Wedge between you and your Family and Friends.

I know we are disjointed in this Day and Age, and a lot of People are looking for Something to bind it all together.

We can however never Pretend that we are like our Ancestors (christian, pagan, muslim, buddhist, or whatever).

We need to integrate a Modern Understanding of the World, and synergize it to something New.

btw all religions did this, and quite frankly, most religious debates are as remote from reality as debates between tiny & fringe communist ones

    Which Orthodox Christianity;
    Old Believer Bespopovtsy Orthodox?
    Oriental Orthodox?
Assyrian Orthodox Church of the East?
Eastern Orthodox on the side of Russia in the current schism?
Or Eastern Orthodox on the side of the Constantinople, Alexandria, Ukraine, Greece & Cyprus in the current schism?
Or Old Calenderist Eastern Orthodox (such as the Matthewites & Cyprianites)?
Or Western Orthodox Churches (such as the Celtic Orthodox Church & British Orthodox Church)?
    Or “True” Orthodox?

you're lying for literally no reason

I think it's telling that neopagans form temples and priesthoods and stuff, and Nazi Buddhists actually get together and meditate, but Eastern Orthodoxy only exists on the internet. The only demographics that have experienced any growth in Orthodox Christianity are fricking American Black folks and Amerindians.

you're also lying for literally no reason, Orthodox churches have all reported an increase in the number of Catechumens. Orthodox Christianity is one of the of the last trve Christian sects which still hates gays and globohomo, maybe only Traditional Catholics are like that as well

The American Orthodox Church has reported an increase in black and amerindian congregants but other than that no, there has only been a decline in Orthodox Church attendance.

            >The American Orthodox Church has reported an increase in black and amerindian congregants
you know nothing about the Orthodox Church. The Orthodox church doesn't inquire as to the race of the converts, they don't have data as to even arrive at this claim. Your making up bullshit + the Orthodox lifestyle is edgier than whatever community you LARP as

            >you're lying for literally no reason
They're literally in fricking schism you dumbfrick LARPer. They have openly declared eachother as going to hell.

            >Alexandria
That's Oriental Orthodox. Sure they probably have an Eastern Orthodox church there too but they're irrelevant.

            >Or Western Orthodox Churches (such as the Celtic Orthodox Church & British Orthodox Church)?
Aren't they in communion with one of the above, or simply LARP?

            Bullshit.
Eastern Orthodox don't even consider Oriental Orthodox to be proper Christians, if at all. That's literally what the Council of Chalcedon was about.
Both of the above consider the "Assyrian Orthodox Church of the East" to be heretics. That's literally what the First Council of Nicaea was about.

            [...]

It's mostly popular among a subset of American religion tourists because there are almost zero orthodox in America beyond a few enclaves in major cities, and 99% of people have no clue what they believe, so the religion tourist has an excuse for not actually going to church and is not surrounded by actual believers who'll call bullshit on what they claim orthodoxy teaches about x or y. See western buddhists and the like.

Eastern Orthodoxy is the most pharisaical strain of Orthodoxy. They can’t agree on a single issue these days and place too much emphasis on a working system.
Mainline Churches completely succumbed to the world through liberalism infiltrating it.

Catholic Church is too clunky and already combined too much philosophical, platonic thought with spirituality.

Anabaptists got it completely right. Also most people are literate and can purchase a Bible and listen to YouTube sermons if they want if they have an IQ of 92,

What do you think is going to happen next besides the Rapture? Everything is already falling into place wayyy outside the control of man. God doesn’t give man anything too much to handle. It’s getting to the point that the average man is reaching a breaking point in how much he can handle

The current Constantinople-Moscow schism is literally nothing new for Christianity nor is it anything severe. There was a schism nearly every single century of the Church's existence, and now we look back at them as just apart of Church history. Please take off the prot lenses
