is Dzogchen really an "antinomian" and "DIY" religion as some paint it?

is Dzogchen really an "antinomian" and "DIY" religion as some paint it? From what I've read, it takes very seriously Nagarjuna's dictum of nirvana is samsara, samsara is nirvana, as well as almost denying transmigration of the soul, asserting nirvana itself isnt permanent, and emphasising every sentient beings buddhahoodlatent buddha nature.
What's the real deal here? is Dzogchen the ultimate dharma pill?

    >antinomian
Depends on your nomian, tbh. Compared to orthodox Theravada, yeah.

    >DIY
Sort of. Empowerment, and direct instructions on the practices, is gated by a Lama. You must receive Dzogchen empowerment to do Dzogchen. But the core principle is extremely relaxed and deceptively simple. It truly is just abiding within the intrinsic nature of mind, and the practices of Dzogchen, in and of themselves, are usually less complex than Mahamudra, though they often click together.

No. It is for manbun-wearing weebs to feel special. Really pathetic "system" and the adherents (lol) are bottom-of-the-barrel as far as occultists go.

If it's guru-based / gated by specific human beings it can only be relatively more antimonian than some other pre-arranged path.

tibetan vajrayana seems like a super complex maze game. there are 3 classes of tantra broadly, but also 6 yogas of naropa, 3 levels of empowerment ,the Bardos.
for example Ngondro is 4 or 5 100K reps of practices, thats the basic. then there is Kalachakra which requires 10 million mantra reps. and only when you do kalachakra, can you do vajrayogini.
if you slip in a vow of a second, you go to vajra hell (?). But really, its a super complex maze of requirements for advance, multiple requirements for a practice, mixing and doing 2 to get a new one
Just like those PS2 digimon games where you could evolve and fuse your digimon
