I have long wanted a spiritual or religious third position.

I have long wanted a spiritual or religious third position. I don't want to be an edgy satanist gay, I don't want to worship God. I'm not an atheist because I believe at least one God/entity exists.
Anyone else feel the same way? I just want a pocket dimension like the dark souls 3 painter, or randonautica

There are a number of other positions you could take such as animism, pythagoras math cultism, esoteric anarchism and more.

Take your pick, do your research. I can help in some if you want

I guess specifically I want to remain neutral to any possible factions, entities or conflicts until I can learn about them myself. Math stuff and quantum stuff seem the best bet.

I believe the implication of the painting in Dark Souls 3 is that our world is the new painting she makes with the dark soul

Yes but some would say it just leads into bloodborne. But time and space is screwy so it could be anything.

You don't have to choose a belief. Nobody is forcing you to. You can be agnostic and simply just wait and see what happens. For some reason people feel like they must have an opinion on how the afterlife functions or if it exists and have an opinion on how the universe was created or if it was created at all. There is no rule saying you must have an opinion. The chance of guessing the correct answers to those questions is incredibly small, it's not only between the currently available religions but between those religions and every other potential possibility which could be an infinite number of possibilities. If I said guess a number between 1 and infinity you'd probably think that's impossible, but that's what people are doing when they say they know things like why the universe exists or what happens when you die

Yep as Shakespeare noted "There are more things in Heaven and Earth than will ever be dreamt of in your philosophy Horatio"

      >For some reason people feel like they must have an opinion
      Lmao
Most religions are of the opinion that the afterlife is the next step in their existence
They literally have to have an opinion on it in order to be considered religious

Yeah that's right. I'm just saying it's a choice they make and not a requirement of existence. If someone doesn't know if they want to be religious or atheist or whatever they have another option which is to just not choose anything. That doesn't mean reject everything though, it just means wait and see

      >1 and infinity
That means everything exists and everything is possible. Don't try and flex your pseudo intellectuality. Now what platform do I use to make a pocket dimension painting?

dwell briefly within the paradox of the anti-self

i mean everyone has that, i think the goal is just to make sure whom your praying to as in the most highs identity is accurate, and what his principalities are. I have derived my beliefs from prayer and the Bible, and have asked the holy spirit to guide me in my learnings, as i'm sure you also have.

More of a side tangent but how can I legitimately banish any influence save for my own from an object? I'm very paranoid about contamination of any kind from anything. Using the name of God will ensure God's influence, and anything else will ensure Satan tries to frick with me cause I didn't use God. Or use any good vs evil thing if you don't like Christianity. I heard an exorcist say the devil doesn't like bells, so maybe I don't need God to use bells?

That's Good stuff. Specifically asking for his protection. Something like a circle is universal, not even a symbol.

    fun cycles
    innocence -> ignorance -> faith -> belief -> knowing -> understanding -> wisdom
no need for men between god and the individual (prolly r special cases tho)
all the b.c. and a.d. texts contain wisdom.
kinda silly to exclude a source of wisdom.
