Cool but I never asked about your life.
There's nothing more embarrassing than some gay who picked up a bunch of gun trivia playing tarkov and is ready to recite the full history of the Kalashnikov to you at the drop of a hat but has never fired a gun.
It's understandable I guess if you're european and aren't allowed to own guns, but there's no excuse if you're an american.
It doesn't bother me all that much, I think guns are cool, and I don't blame Europeans or kids for having an interest in firearms picking up some trivia from a video game. You're just a dumb gatekeeper
>You're just a dumb gatekeeper
>gets called a gay LARPer
>"HELP HELP I'M BEING OPPRESSED"
lol
>It doesn't bother me all that much
it bothers me a lot tho
I'm an atheist who sometimes attends church for family, a gun owner who is not a gun nut, and a progressive who still wants a trad wife.
you're a larper
I'll be your tradwife (male), anon.
I'm a gun owner who supports gun control.
I'm a gun owner in California and I have no issues witth my states gun laws
>t. identifies as a woman
I respect your choice anon
Very Californian
>I actually think that I should have less rights
hey bros, north korea is down the street
>"NOOOO I NEEEEED MUH AYYY ARRR 15!"
just get a Mini-14, problem solved lmao
>please, daddy gubmint, take my rights away *licks boot*
>rights should be predicated on need
they're not rights, then, moron, they're just government privileges.
Ideally only the government would be able to own guns like in Europe, but unfortunately there's too many of them in circulation now to ever make it happen.
Why do you want to be a slave?
Your gun is just an expensive toy, it does not give you any freedom.
All power is derived from the barrel of a gun
>it does not give you any freedom.
why do you believe that rights are based on necessity? Could it possibly be that you don't believe in rights at all?
Then why are governments banning civillian ownership of guns?
Because they are dangerous. They boost criminality, murders, cause accidental deaths and serve as no benefit to anyone. Governments are right to curtail them.
If nobody else owned a gun then you wouldn't need a gun to defend yourself.
So you obviously agree that they're more than just expensive toys
For most "consumers" (i.e. gun nuts) they are just toys they like to brag about and base their personality around.
Just look how many gun owners were involved in legitimate self-defense situations vs accidental deaths and murders.
Gun """culture""" is weaponized moronation.
This is honestly why I don't hang around gun nuts. I occasionally talk guns with reenactors and such. Most gun owners treat guns like toys and don't treat them with proper respect as hunting tools or weapons of war. They don't even seriously train for how to use them in self defense, they just have fantasies of shooting the bad guys. They just want to pose with them and take them down to the range and get drunk. They don't seem to understand guns themselves are serious business. I like plinking, but gun nuts are just middle aged mall ninjas with rifles instead of katanas.
I actually (mostly) agree with you anon. Guns are not toys, but unfortunately too many morons treat them like toys. For me, my guns are mostly just range plinkers, and maybe something to use as a home defense tool should the need arise, but they are something that need to be treated with respect regardless. The problem isn't the guns themselves though, just the gun culture.
>If nobody else owned a gun then you wouldn't need a gun to defend yourself.
I agree, the government shouldn't be allowed to own guns
>they are dangerous. They boost criminality, murders, cause accidental deaths
They are inanimate objects, schizo
Free speech can cause others to be hurt emotionally, or potentially even physically if you're, say, inciting people to violence.
Requiring warrants before police can collect evidence is dangerous because it provides an opportunity for criminals to destroy evidence and create alibis which could get them exonerated which would leave a criminal free to walk the streets.
Should we get rid of these rights, too? What other rights need to go away in the name of safety? Would you be ok with getting treated unequally by the law if it benefitted society?
>Ideally we would be able to divest the entire population of america of their constitutional rights and subvert the entire idea of democracy
bro you already have north korea, just go live there.
you can't have 30 round magazines in your ar even though that's clearly necessary for life in modern muttmerica
The AR-15 was invented in California
Leftists invented it so they'd have something to ban
Just like how conservatives invented homosexuality so they'd have something to ban
umm pretty sure homosexuality was invented by ancient greeks, sweetie
they had special vocab and social rules for tops/bottoms and even a special lezz island
gun nuts are going absolutely crazy in this thread about defending their feish sticks
next time a school gets shot up, don't stop at thoughts and prayers, turn your guns in instead and consider donating to a gun safety organization - common sense gun safety benefits all of us, look up gun statistics, your family are more likely to be shot than if you didn't have any murder sticks at home
and take a break from jerking your tiny mutilated peckers to the newest gun lobbyist video and look up what happened to the sick-o kiddy diddler gun nuts at Waco - they burned their children alive, just to avoid answering for their crimes like a man
you too are willing to kill all your loved ones if access to your toys would come in jeopardy, you just don't know it yet
TURN IN YOUR GUNS AT THE NEXT BUYBACK
No.
