I haven't seen anti christian spam lately. I believe that humans have to be controlled in some way for the better or for the worse. Wild humans would just kill, steal, and do things to each other. Religion is a way to tame humans into being better individuals. If this is true, they are trying to get rid of religion and replace it with 24/7 surveillance similar to China's social credit system where they can instill their own values and make their own rules, instead of telling people they will go to hell for doing wrong, they'll just freeze their bank accounts of course the 24/7 surveillance is going to be way worse for the humans as humans wouldn't be able to negotiate or make up their own mind. Reliance on a 24/7 ai powered surveillance will also install more anxiety into everyone that is being watched, instead of believing that a supreme being is watching over them. A supreme being may be able to provide forgiveness, but a cold AI machine will not.
