they believe in soul-sleep but I have had several astral protections and one NDE

NDEs result from a lack of oxygen to the brain, leading to hallucinations and altered states of consciousness.

I don't know how I've never heard of one of them being stabbed or shot for waking people up at 7 am on a sunday.

Curiously, it's been so long since the last time I saw them going door to door.

"No weapon forged against you will prevail," (Isaiah 54:17)

All religions are bullshit including JWschizos

From a big picture standpoint, the JW faith makes two truth claims:

      1. God exists.
      2. Jesus exists, and He rose from the dead.

If both of these assertions are true, then JWs is true and should be embraced.

you cant do that. you cant dismiss my NDE. you dont know how it happened. I was meditating. and Im celibate. also this ponit, JW dont have an Institution of lifelong celibacy. the god of JW demands a man MUST part from his Seed sooner or later to sire children. it makes an imperative commandment against life-long semen retention!

          >you cant do that

          I can. NEXT

          >If both of these assertions are true
          Too bad they aren't

To begin with, we have demonstrably sincere eyewitness testimony. Early Christian apologists cited hundreds of eyewitnesses, some of whom documented their own alleged experiences.

Many of these eyewitnesses willfully and resolutely endured prolonged torture and death rather than repudiate their testimony. This fact attests to their sincerity, ruling out deception on their part.

No. I dont accept you. you are a larper and a liar. you are dismissing the meditation of a celibate.
stop this pathetic ARG. you are facing a celibate who achieved an astral plane shift

            > I dont accept you.

            Doesn't matter.

They literally appeared in the 1830's in a bible group by a zionist, use a version of the bible tailored to their beliefs while not revealing their super accurate sources, separate themselves and basically function the outside is inherently evil, they have an attitude of holier-than-thou where their manufactured bible is correct one instead of any other one, believe in rapture which appeared only around that period, along with saying only X amount of people will reach heaven while making predictions that have continously failed.
Their worship is literally just bible study with no real discussion that isn't repetitive.

After the death of the apostles, the Church embarked on a "Great Apostasy", diverging from the original teachings of Jesus on several major points.

In the 1870s, Charles Taze Russell and his associates formed a Bible study group in Pennsylvania, developing teachings that they considered to be a revival of the great truths taught by Jesus and the Apostles.

Both the Great Apostasy and the Bibel Students' subsequent restoration of original Christianity were a fulfilment of Jesus' parable of the wheat and the weeds at Matthew 13:24-30,36-43.

            >we have demonstrably sincere eyewitness testimony
No we don't and some dubious claims of fictitious witnesses are not to be trusted.

What makes the earliest Christian martyrs remarkable is that they knew whether or not what they were professing was true.

They either saw Jesus Christ alive-and-well after His death or they did not.

            This is extraordinary!

If it was all just a lie, why would so many perpetuate it given their circumstances? Why would they all knowingly cling to such an unprofitable lie in the face of persecution, imprisonment, torture, and death?

stop lying. you FAILED to debunk the reality of My celibate near-death experience.
I know what I have seen. 99% of men alive today jerk off or have illicit s*x so this isnt well known. but I did have an astral proyections, OBEs, lucid dreamings which evolved into one of these type of experiences.
also, I repeat. JW has no institution of life-long celibacy. new male members are face with the obligation to Part from their Seed sooner or later.

            >After the death of the apostles, the Church embarked on a "Great Apostasy", diverging from the original teachings of Jesus on several major points.
According to who? You have ancient church fathers like St Ignatius of Antioch talk about the trinity, St Clement also using trinitarian language while also talking about the real presence in the eucharist, St Irenaeus talking about the trinity in his writings etc. All of these had connection to the apostles, like St Irenaeus being taught by St Polycarp who was taught by St John the evangelist. This is essentially saying Jesus couldn't maintain his church which goes against Jesus' sayings in Matthew 16:18, which can easily be understood by reading Matt 7:24-27. If a wise man follows Jesus and doesn't fall, wouldn't the church he built on himself (1 Corinthians 10:4) be unable to be destroyed. Further, God maintained the covenant with Israel and managed to make them turn back to him at least for a period, so this is inconsistent.
            >In the 1870s, Charles Taze Russell and his associates formed a Bible study group in Pennsylvania, developing teachings that they considered to be a revival of the great truths taught by Jesus and the Apostles.
So they came up with their own understanding of the gospel which they considered the truth? That's literally every protestant denomination, except most of them don't try to change the text of the bible to suit their interpretation under the guise of a translation, while never revealing the translators so we can see their process, knowledge or understanding of them. Further, there are the mormons, which say the same thing, so who to choose.
Those verses in Matthew you quote can be understood as either the judgement on the people of Israel during the fall of the second temple or, more likely, the history of the world and the final judgement that's presented in Revelation.

        Lol wtf you braindead moron.
Why specifically JWs then. You just listed two tenants that all christians believe in.
Also this doesn't address the nature of the "God" or "Jesus" as described by the JWs who literally created their own bible.
ie, just made up an alternative version of Christianity recently...

        >NDEs result from a lack of oxygen to the brain, leading to hallucinations and altered states of consciousness.

Are you saying that after having come to understanding through direct experience of knowledge or is something else other than understand with direct experience as the cause the reason for you to say that?

I don't think, here and now, that there is a higher cause to make a definitive statement like you made then that one arrived at understanding by virtue of direct experience.

Entristece-me que os ramos protestantes tenham tanto fulgor no Brasil, ainda que sejam uma minoria.

Regarding your challenge, in order to convince someone that something is false, that someone has to be willing/disposed to change his/her belief. It seems apparent, from the long while that I've been on Oyish, that you as a JW are not disposed of being convinced.

I can tell you that, in my eyes, it's peak hubris to think that the Church which Jesus (who is God, Son of God) has founded on Earth would quickly falter after the deaths of the Apostles; "diverging [...] on several major points" which you do not mention, and that only after eighteen centuries the "correct" church would be discovered.
