Same, but Spanish. This fixation that comes from Protestants of the United States on portraying Catholicism as a strange cult instead of the default mode of Christianity in the planet is always mildly amusing.

I'm only willing to date a Catholic woman because I'm also Catholic.

Prots have always been salty about catholics.

Orthodoxy is its own thing, its never Catholic
And there are some Catholic things in the Middle East like the Chaldean Catholics in Syria and Iraq

Catholic means universal. The Orthodox Church is Catholic, the Church usually referred to as Catholic is Roman Catholic. Both versions of Christianity use the adjective in their full name.

Okay man yeah lemme ask my Orthodox mom who her patriarch is
            It ain't Pope Francis

Orthodox and uppercase Catholic are the same church divided, though.

My dad's catholic and my mother's orthodox
Its not the same thing beyond both being Christian

yeah, it's a schism for a reason. still the same divided, more or less.
it just grew larger as time went on (e.g. the orthodox going with palamism).

how's their relationship being on both sides?
            also
            >both being Christian
this is what matters the most.

            >he thinks Catholicism and Orthodoxy are the same
No, you blithering idiot, I think the Orthodox Catholic Church and the Roman Catholic Church both possess the adjective Catholic in their name. Don't put words in my mouth because your English reading comprehension is below a high schooler's or because your poor excuse of a country didn't cover the Schism of the Church between Eastern and Western.

use lowercase c catholic for the adjective idea.
uppercase already evokes the idea of the Roman Catholic church.

also, watch your language. in what does it help to hurl insults at the other guy?

Fine, I fell for the bait. 8/10, well played. Choosing to believe you're trolling instead of ignoring that it's the official name.

nice example of man's need for worship.
be lacking or running away from God, and you'll have that somewhere else.
often yourself (desires, vices, urges) or things like politics and politicians.

is your mom religious? are you?

All sand women think very highly of themselves and they have very high standards. That won't change regardless of religion or if they are covered or not. I have never seen any proof they are attracted to me and even if they were they don't seem worth it.

Eastern Orthodox Palestinian here. You don't wanna date an Arab girl regardless of religion, they are stuck up gold diggers who get spoiled by their daddies throughout their childhood.

No. I was raised Catholic but havent had a valid confession in years. I have done things that would make most women want nothing to do with me. And I feel that if I cant be as honest with a future bride as the priest I confess too, I cannot marry.

      Never too late.
      Christ is waiting.

      remember the prodigal son, anon.
God will be happy you came back, not angry at your errors.
and He will fix and purify you fro. any mistakes you've done, as long as you let Him.

Gods grace wipes away sin, not consequences. Only question is to experience them in this life or the next.

Christ has already bore the consequences on the cross.

anytging more mundane, being called consequences, can be fixed.
Look at the sinful men God saved.
