Societal control. Muslims are extremely submissive to authority and are very easy to manipulate.

    >For if a woman does not cover her head, she might as well have her hair cut off; but if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should cover her head.
It's because the Quran is backwards and forces them to be so unlike Christianity.

The Arab world didn't go through the Age of Enlightenment.

In the more modern democratic secular Muslim parts like Turkey, you'll find Islam to be much less strict

I only ever attainted a mosque once and have cultural osmosis familiarity with Islam, but in my brief experiences and impressions of it I would point to its unique structure. Namely, Islam is constructed in such a way as to always be involved in your everyday life as a constant reminder and tests piety by how active you are in following it's various bullshit life obligations. In that way it's like a halfway point between Christianity and Judaism.

The most obvious examples of this are the 5 times a day prayer requirement, which is also a much more physical and communal experience than Christian church (imo it's better in this regard). There's no way to even half meet that without structuring your entire life around religion/church. Another is the lack of separation between Church and State with the state's role serving as religious bureaucracy.

Also, I don't know why but something about Islam makes Allah seems much more mean and scary compared to most Abrahamic conceptions of God or even other gods.

You should read the quran, it puts HEAVY emphasis on gods mercy. Every surah starts with "in the name of god, most merciful and especially merciful." And a large portion of the verse tell people to repent to god and that hew would surely accept their repentance. A hadith that comes to my mind about the mercy of god, is about a prostitute who gave a thirsty dog water. That one act made god forgive her sins.

This is exactly why they act like Black folk, because they feel entilted to God's mercy.

Cannon Law requires more institutional support than Shariah Law does, the implementation of Islamic legal codes is easier. Islam itself is more mobile than practically any other religion, it's first converts were merchants after all.

I think it's this. The Judaic world was very strict. Now the opposite of that was Christianity. Contrarian and hip. The Arab pagan world was very lax and free. The opposite of that was Islam. Contrarian and hip.

Incorrect statement. Extremism in Islam was manufactured by the CIA by giving US tax money, weapons and providing strategic information to the most radical groups in Islam. That was done in order to keep an steady flow of brainwashed morons to fight the soviets in Afghanistan.

The so called strictness of islam is really a smokescreen. ANYTHING goes as long as it's kept indoors. They never learn why it's wrong to do certain things, they just care whether they'll be punished or not.
