I was convinced to be contentt and happy with he idea of here not being an afterlife

Without belief in an aferlife here really isn't much reason to keep believing in God.

    I'm not a belieever, I'm a doer.
So religiousness isn't a phase for me.
Speaking of which... How many of you would be terrified of dark ritual and hide below the priests garment? I do that shit :3

when i started browsing Oyish, i lost my faith. to be fair though, before i found this place i was already "backsliding" as they would say.

now i am 100% sure that if there some source for the universe, it isn't documented in some "holy" book here on earth.

What would give you such levels of confidence?

well, maybe i shouldn't say 100% as i haven't been exposed or studied every religion. 99% would be a better term in my case and only if it is applied to the common religions that state we were created by a deity and have rules to follow.

my confidence stems from my understanding of christianity and by proxy any other faiths based on judaism. god cannot be all powerful and all knowing and at the same time be sinless and perfect. if he created angels and humans, then he knew that an angel would tempt a human. if he created hell, he knew what it was going to be used for. his knowledge of the coming evil and "sin" in the world would equate to him creating it himself.

a few other things cause me to be skeptic too: zoroastrianism and other early religions

where next for the foreveralonehandholdlesskisslessvirginincel man? religiosity was an understandable refuge after overindulging on the nihilism of the post-Trump right. where does he go from here?

Dating apps are horrible but it is quite funny how so much autistic screeching is cope from not having a partner and not being properly integrated into society.

If the bell curve meme was true, there wouldn't be a negative correlation between religiosity and intelligence.

Atheist that I've met are either ill informed, poorly documented, atheist only on the outside while occultism practicers inside, absolute morons, or sheltered.

No honest intelligent atheist that my eyes have witnessed.
