The strongest argument in favor of Christianity is the argument of benefit; which is, if a religion can bring about real benefit to an individual's life, then it is favorable for that individual to convert. However, what benefits do you get from converting to Christianity? As far as I know the most that you get is some socialization once every week at mass. There's no guarantee your life will get better, that you'll make friends, have a relationship, etc

Nothing. It’s one of the worst choices you can make if you take it seriously, and if you don’t take it seriously and actually follow the rules and examples of Jesus Christ then what are you even doing, because you clearly don’t actually buy the religion

The teachings of Christianity are beneficial for society, as they promote kindness, altruism, justice, honesty, and humility, as well as other values that are beneficial for society. Additionally, Christianity provides spiritual enrichment through worship, prayer, and fellowship with likeminded christians. Thus, the argument of benefit in favor of Christianity is not limited to physical benefits.

Allow me to demonstrate the flaw in your logic. Altruism and generosity enable one to contribute to the community and improve its well-being. This allows for a stronger support system in time of need.

Let us not allow ourselves to be dominated by our enemies through deception, but rather, to strive for justice and compassion. After all, we are all siblings beneath the same sky.

Christianity promotes being a passive broke virgin who gives his entire life to the service of others.
Jesus repeats multiple times a preface that “yes this is not a desirable lifestyle, but you will have infinite treasure and everything you want in heaven”
He says don’t worry about what you eat, don’t worry about your body, give to thieves and beggars, eith the example of a thief that just stole from you specifically. You absolutely would be taken advantage of.

Jesus' teaching about not worrying about your daily livelihood is meant for a deeper meaning. He is referring to your relationship with the Divine. This attitude of trust in the Divine and letting go of fear is an act of liberation and a path towards wisdom.

          > Christianity promotes being a passive broke virgin who gives his entire life to the service of others.

The true joy of Jesus' teachings is in one's inner peace and tranquility, not in material pleasures or sensual desires. If one can truly overcome material neediness, then one is liberated from a life of slavery.

            > Oh shit I almost forgot, being a virgin and not having sex sucks
Allow me to put a question to you; How can one enjoy life if one is enslaved by one's own vices and desires?

Yet so-called "broken" Christians find comfort in the presence of Christ, while enlightened incels suffer the kiss of a succubus because they are enslaved to thoughts of sex. Let me tell you, virginity is holy and pure, and for a man it is the path of holiness. Don't be enslaved by desire of carnal lust. Let all sexual activity, even masturbation, be for marriage or God. Inceldom is satanic and must be exposed and shamed in the name of Christ.

If you don't truly believe in the religion (i.e. genuinely believe in the deepest parts of your soul/psyche that Jesus was divine and rose from the dead) then there's no reason to be part of the religion. Anything else is a cope.

Church is not needed to be a Christian, that's all man-made religion nonsense,

5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Faith, even the size of a mustard seed. Wonder why some prayers are answered and some are not? No matter the sect of Christianity or another religion entirely, those who have unwavering faith will be blessed, because God dwells within.

Unironically, both. Some moments you will be lifted by the presence of God, and other times you may feel down, but as long as you return to God even for the moment, all that's needed is a short affirmation, or prayer (which shows God that you are trying).
So both, even a small amount of faith poured into the mustard seed is enough

            Anonymous

Also it should be noted, that I did not say that ONLY those with unwavering faith will be blessed, but that it will happen quicker and 'easier'

What you say sounds like some law of attraction/assumption stuff. But then again this verse does exist:
            >Mark 11:24 - Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

It sure does, doesn't it. But most Christians are worshipping an external Christ, but we are told that he is within us, how could Christ return to us, when he never left us.

            >Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

            >I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

            >For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.

            >law of assumption
            >And if we know that he hears us
in regard to whatever we ask him, we may be sure that all we ask of him will be ours.

            >But most Christians are worshipping an external Christ
The vast majority of Christians don't give a shit about Yeshua, they worship the church and its traditions. You can see this when Pagans talk about how "Eastern Orthodoxy" is a better God than Freyja or Thor or Zeus or whatever. The entire point of modern Christianity is about interacting with these institutions for material benefit. When Adrian Vermeule was pitching the tradlarp gayop to the FBI his entire reasoning for why people would even want to pretend to be Catholic was that it could be sold to gullible nerds as a way to engage in Crypto-White Nationalism.

This is about people who claim to follow a religion but in private do otherwise. It states you would be better of just doing it privately; showing you have true faith. It is shown that optimally you would be open and courageous in prayer given you actually believe it and act accordingly.

We are told to seek the kingdom of God/Heaven (used interchangeably), we are told it is our Father's good pleasure to give us the kingdom, we are also told that the kingdom dwells within us, so we should seek to find it, and it's the mind of man. You conceive of a thought (unaided by another) which is the virgin conception, now give it blood by your faith.

easier for a rich man to enter heaven than a camel to pass the eye of the needle. Sin and want are ever present on every corner of the earth and your wealth is needed. You are infinitely richer than the man who burns in eternal fire in the bible, there are people outside your door whose gulf of wealth is vaster than theirs, entire continents full of them. Do you really think god will look favorably on you? Especially as you twist the gospel into a justification for whatever you already wanted in life.
