    It's a good question.
The creation of apes was just as supernatural as that of humans. What sets humans apart is that we have a qualitatively different purpose and soul. There is no dividing line between our IQ and ape IQ or our language capacity and ape language capacity that is the dividing line between nature and image of God. It's role and soul.

For some religious people, there is no intrinsic tension between evolution theory and religion. They might read religious texts metaphorically or allegorically, which would allow evolutionary principles to be accommodated as a natural process directed by a supernatural power. According to this perspective, the scientific study of human evolution serves as evidence that life was orchestrated by a higher force. Some prefer to think of science and religion as dealing with separate facets of life. They might view religious beliefs as providing answers to issues about meaning, purpose, and the metaphysical aspects of existence, while scientific theories—including evolution—serve as explanations for the natural world. With this viewpoint, people can enjoy the spiritual aspects of their faith as well as the scientific discoveries without necessarily seeing a direct conflict. However, some people reject the theory of evolution out of religious conviction and instead take religious texts more literally. They might believe in a supernatural creation hypothesis and reject the evolutionary theory's claim that humans and apes share a similar ancestor.

    >And if you think the distance that Christ came to take the likeness of man is not so great as that from man to gorilla, then you don’t know men or gorillas, or God.

On a PCA blacks would absolutely be slightly closer to other apes, due to ghost ancestry and being more archaic in general. In fact I'm pretty sure this has been demonstrated already.

I heard a pastor say once
    >Did you NEED a geneticist to tell you that apes are related to humans?
    >Have you looked at apes?

    Radical acceptance was refreshing
(the underlying belief is still Biblical literalism; but living organisms have genetic codes and apes are simply similar or related to humans.)

Denial. Yes I know evolution is probably true, but I have to deny it because it would disprove all religions and render existence utterly meaningless in every way. Everyone denies the implications of evolution anyways so it's not a big stretch to deny it entirely. I'm just being honest here. It's very irrational of me yes but it's for the greater good.

      >It's very irrational of me yes but it's for the greater good.
      It's really not.
Rejecting poisonous information is entirely rational.

My problem with evolution isn't that life exist it's the origin of life thats shaky. They're just guessing so you might as well believe whatever you want because that's what scientists do once they don't really know.

That's not a problem with evolution. If bearded guy in the sky created the first protocell that evolved into all the life you see today, that's still evolution.

Most Christians would believe that God specially created them both, and they have similar genetics (building blocks) because they had the same creator (builder). Another theory is that humans evolved from more primitive apes and that God then specially created humans by giving them a rational soul. In both theories, humans are a special creation of God.
