only one monotheistic religion

theres only one monotheistic religion really
one abrahamic religion
which is Christianity
Islam is a hijacked denomination, by the false Ishmaelite and false prophet Mohammed

Judaism was the first step, the first covenant that was needed in ancient times between God and his chosen people but they missed the Messiah, Jesus Christ, by making fun of Him and renouncing Him and are therefore punished eternally

Yes, Biblical unitarianism. Surely you don't mean the idolatrous pagan, triune godhead worshiping Roman mystery religion.

    Matthew 19:12
    >For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

Even if Jesus was the Messiah I'd rather burn in Hell forever than follow the kind of limp-wristed cuck that urges his followers to castrate themselves for "the Kingdom of Heaven." Anyone who wants you feminized / weak is the bad guy, which is also why Jesus told his followers:
    Matthew 5:39-40
    >But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.

Ask yourself, do these sentiments put together sound like they're coming from a person who genuinely wants what's best for his followers? Or is it coming from a vain, narcissistic egomaniac that knows he's evil and doesn't want his followers to do anything about it? Clearly it's the second thing

      >Even if Jesus was the Messiah
Jesus was "high priest" according to Paul, not the king messiah. He fulfilled none of the king messiah prophecies. The king messiah is supposed to literally end all wars, and all sin, while uniting the world in worship of God. Also King David had like twelve wives.

These quotes seem like the opposite of vanity and narcissism.

Telling your followers "don't resist evil" and "castrate yourselves" is telling them, "I want you weak and defenseless and I never want you to ever fight back no matter what I or anyone else does to you because you're mine now." Doesn't get much more evil than that

Christianity would have never spread if Christians actually did what Jesus wanted. Christianity spread by the sword of the Romans, and later the European colonizers who brought it to savage lands.

I'm not saying Christians aren't historically hypocrites, I'm saying Jesus was a much shiftier guy than he's portrayed which is clear if you actually read the New Testament

Wanting everyone else to be your castrated wimps that don't fight back IS vain and narcissistic because the impulse for making others weaker is making them fully reliant upon you. It's all self-serving.

He never said he wanted everyone to be castrated. Words, man. Lmao.

The word for "Eunuch" and "Celibate" in the original Greek is not the same. I asked a pastor about this once

The church has never read it that way. Your original point was moronic anyway, because these verses come right after Jesus telling people not to get divorced.

there is a genuine problem there that i can see.
ive seen multiple ways of explaining His words and i can see that, if you have to reach very far to explain something, then chances are you are... well, reaching.

my point isnt necessarily that its the one TRUE religion, even though that is clearly my belief.
i was just saying that judaism is the precursor to Christianity and they failed to make the jump and islam is a failed denomination that became its own thing.

How is any part of my post, "reaching?" It's what Jesus literally said

          no no
          not you
the people who try to take bible passages like the ones you quoted and THEN go on to try and explain them away using some of the most illogical ways of reasoning. that is what i mean by people who reach.

The genocidal "God" of the Bible orders for the killing of women and children, including infants:

    1 Samuel 15:3
"Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys."

The "God" of the Bible orders for women's hands to be chopped off:

    Deuteronomy 25:12
"If two men are fighting, and the wife of one steps in to rescue her husband from the one striking him, and she reaches out her hand and grabs his genitals, you are to cut off her hand. You must show her no pity."

The "God" of the BIble orders for people to be stoned to death for breaking one of his rules:

Like the "crime" of picking up sticks on the sabbath:

    Numbers 15:32-36
"Now while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day. And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. They put him under guard, because it had not been explained what should be done to him.

Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.” So, as the Lord commanded Moses, all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him with stones, and he died."

Even Jesus, according to the gospels, supports the death penalty for disobedient children:

      Mark 7:10
For Moses said, 'Honor your father and your mother'; and, 'Whoever reviles father or mother must surely die.' 'For instance, Moses gave you this law from God: 'Honor your father and mother,' and 'Anyone who speaks disrespectfully of father or mother must be put to death.'

The "God" of the Quran orders for his enemies to have their hands and feet chopped off:

      Surah Al Mai'dah 33

"Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment."

The "God" of the Quran orders for men to beat their wives:

      Surah An-Nisa - 34

"Men are caretakers of women, since Allah has made some of them excel the others, and because of the wealth they have spent. So, the righteous women are obedient, (and) guard (the property and honor of their husbands) in (their) absence with the protection given by Allah. As for women of whom you fear rebellion, convince them, and leave them apart in beds, and beat them. Then, if they obey you, do not seek a way against them. Surely, Allah is the Highest, the Greatest."
