The same can be said about Islam too. Honestly, these afterlife-focused types don't seem to value life as much as they say they do.

You're mistaking lack of fear of something with a will to.

The world is a piece of shit. Look around you anon. Is that not the truth? And yes, the afterlife is better. That's a conclusion God is hoping each and every one of us comes to. He's hoping we will want something better. Hoping we will do the minimal work he asks us to do to get it. If you don't think the world is a heap of dog shit, he can't help you, and won't help you. You don't even have the most basic understanding of reality. That's the starting point to your journey to Heaven. If you can't put your feet there, you're truly lost.

I enjoy being alive. I wish I could live for billion of years. I really like learning so I'd just learn everything there is, I'd do every college degree available. I want to be there when we finally work out how the universe works. I want my own spaceship so I can fly around the universe. I have heaps of ideas for inventions and video games and stuff, far too many to do in one lifetime. There's just endless stuff to do. Maybe heaven exists, but also maybe it doesn't, and I'm enjoying myself here anyway

Sounds like you have ascended. The next layer will be even better. Have fun when you get there just like you are now.

You're in luck anon. How would you like to live 1000 years? You could get a lot done and see just about everything. In about 11 months we'll have that opportunity. The door opens September 3rd, 2024. The day satan and the fallen angels arive on earth.

If you remain loyal to Jesus until you die, and you probably will, as a reward you'll be brought back to life. You'll be plunked back down on the earth in a new body, probably a lot like the one you have right now, at about age 18. You will be permitted to live out the 1000 year lifespan man was originally intended to have. Like man had before the flood. That's the special reward you'll get for remaining loyal, for giving up a portion of this life. You'll get paid a thousand times over.

All you have to do is stay alive for 11 more months, then flip the devil off with both fingers at every opportunity. Eventually he'll get tired of dealing with you and kill you, but you'll get it all back and then some. A dream life, on a new, clean, evil free earth of peace and prosperity for everyone. Revelation says that's going to happen. The 12th chapter says it starts in September of next year.

Hope to see you there fren.

Christian here. If what I am hoping isn't true then we are both fricked. Because one thing is hard to refute. We have a spirit that isn't going to die. I sure hope the next layer makes a tad more sense than this one.

    >My only problem with Christianity is that it generates a self-destructive 'death drive' because in Christianity, the afterlife is better than the world

I think that's only true of Christianity practiced wrongly. I think that no christian practicing rightly is truly trying to speed up their death.

I've read that every life has an appointed time which cannot be delayed not sped up. I read it in the Quran.

My problem with Christianity are the billions who can't see what the story of Christ is actually trying to convey, and somehow despite Christ's perfect example, can't seem to get it right.
