Ex Mormon turned Atheist / Satanist who does internet debates about religion etc.
He's actually a pretty decent orator despite looking like a cross between a metal band singer and a Reddit mod, which makes certain Christians constantly butthurt about him.

Well to be fair, the other guy has 0 fruit, is an obnoxious presup Calvie who went on a political rant and actually called his opponent's beliefs "stupid" (you don't do that in a formal debate regardless of how stupid they objectively are). Considering the interlocutor is Dillahunty, this debate was predestined to be a trainwreck, even for a Molinist.

I think he's an Ortho-larper. Dillahunty is sharp but his politics don't match his supposed beliefs (like a lot of nu-atheists). Worse, he has grown more and more prickly every year and unable to handle criticism. Debaters have realuzed this and now try to provoke him to throw him off his game, another recent debate had a muslim trigger him repeatedly over his troon bf. Andrew Wilson is also sharp, but also a tryhard prick who always personally attacks his opposition. Thus, the result of

I do not believe a biological man can be a biological woman. But I don't see any logical conflict with someone assuming the social role of a woman and being treated as such, outside of medical and some private contexts.

I really don't care. If someone is saying something is true, it's true. If you can't reason beyond that, then why are you even in the discussion? This is the level sub-100 IQ people operate at.

Exactly why you need to look attractive or at the very least presentable for normies to take your ideas seriously. They are incapable of separating the ideas from the individual and this guy looking like Reddit personified does nobody any favors. Wtf do atheists and specific religious theists even debate about?
    >I believe in God because of book
    >book not proof
    >yeah it is
    >nuh uh
Like, what is the point? An argument between an atheist and theist on the idea of there being a God is fair enough, but when you get to the point where you have an Abrahamic or anyone arguing for the existence of a specific deity, surely it just comes down to whether or not you believe the source material is legit?

I find it more fun to watch the various theist factions endlessly debate over scripture that isn't even consistent within itself.

      Anonymous

      >Like, what is the point?
Today? To have fun arguing with other dorks if you're an atheist, to jerk off about how holy and pious you are if you're a theist.

Historically? Atheism came about as a grassroots movement during the birth of the internet and was part of a broader rejection of American Pop-Cultural anti-intellectualism. Evangelical and Fundamentalist Christians held a large number of key positions of power (having made a huge amount of money selling New Age beliefs during the 1970s and subsequently buying large amounts of media and political capital with the funds), and saw internet atheism as an attack on their gains. So, the atheists saw it as a sort of virtuous practice of self cultivation (under the assumption that knowledge is a moral good), whereas the theists saw it as a matter of maintaining political control.

Theism ended up not being as good of a control mechanism as race-communism, however, so Atheism would get deconstructed and used as a cudgel for race-communism (see: Elevatorgate). As explicit race politics is no longer being useful for israeli capital, however, Theism is making a comeback. The problem is how to segue from the various fractured Abrahamisms into a single unified Noahidism.
