It's Sophia, personification of the wisdom of god.
A good example of pagan substrate in Christianity.

      > a good example of the pagan substrate in Christianity

      > doesent capitalize the G in God

      Are you a Muslim?

A Muslim would capitalise it too. But no, I'm not a Muslim.

Then what? You called Christianity pagan, but you didn’t capitalize the G in God

I'm not religious, I'm just an unbiased observer.

Then why accuse Christianity of being pagan?

Icon depicting holy wisdom as a separate person of the trinity, a russian folk belief declared heretical in 1935, as holy wisdom in orthodox theology is a charismata of the holy spirit, primarily of the person of jesus christ

      Thanks for actually explaining.
Also, n the whole charismata thing, in the 2nd century, St Justin Martyr and St Irenaeus described the Holy Spirit as being God's wisdom/sophia probably because The Holy Spirit is described as teaching the apostles in all truth, so it could be attributed to him.

Then why is this icon found on the official OCA website?

        Not him.
But I found some explanation, apparently the wisdom is just supposed to be Jesus represented in a different form.

That belief might be a rationalization of bulgakov's sophianism, which is nonetheless still heretical

Sometimes logos is translated not as a word but as wisdom. And the beginning of the Bible then sounds that God created heaven and earth with his wisdom, or wisdom created heaven and earth, and so on. I think it's about that

The OCA also depicts Seraphim Rose with a halo even though he isnt canonized, folk culture may be present in churches, but that doesn't infallibly validate them

Sophia/Wisdom of God, which has been personified as an archangel.
