Are any of his books worth reading? I'm not talking about The God Delusion bullshit, but maybe Selfish Gene?

        >A Universe From Nothing
I checked a copy I purchased during my moronation phase and it has precisely zero citations. Amusing.

I've read it and there are frequent random digressions where he spergs about Christianity. Even as a popsci book it was pretty shitty.

These people just like kissing other writer's ass, that doesn't say much about his work.

          >that doesn't say much about his work
It says that they're popularizers selling their shit to IFL midwits.

Chris Hitchens wasn't dysgenic. He had C.S. Lewis physiognomy

Hitchens was an abrasive alcoholic, and it shows. Lewis isn't a gigachad, but he has a kindly and trustworthy phenotype.

If you're going to read an atheist at least read an interesting one. Dawkins' understanding of religion was outdated 300 years ago.

This is basically it: "aside from thinking of survival and propagation of the fittest individuals, you could also think of survival of the fittest genes".

There, I just saved you hours of going through it. That's literally it, that's everything in the book. I read it from cover to cover I believe (might have skipped some of the end, I don't remember). It's hardly that deep an idea. There's an awful lot of psychobabble like how some religious people get depressed to think we're just a pile of genes.

Personally I'm not religious. However with Dawkins it's like, he can't let it alone. He's built up his entire life rehashing these same old arguments as if it will do any good. It's just the same thing over and over and very intellectually lazy, also hurting people in the process. .

Surprisingly though his The Ancestor's Tale is actually really good. It's about how animals evolved. He very possibly got it ghostwritten.
